You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If life feels heavier than it should, if you're feeling stuck, or if you keep running into the same challenges, therapy can help. Sometimes all we need is a place to slow down, sort through what's going on, and find a better way forward.

I don't believe therapy should feel overly clinical or like you're being analyzed. Every person is different, so every session should be too. My approach is collaborative and practical, drawing from evidence based therapies like EMDR, CBT, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, existential therapy, and person centered therapy. Together, we'll find an approach that fits you and your goals.

Yes. I reserve a limited number of reduced fee appointments for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can discuss your situation and determine whether a sliding scale spot is available.

Flow State Counseling is a private pay practice. I believe this allows me to provide personalized care without many of the limitations that can come with insurance, such as diagnosis requirements or restrictions on treatment.
If using insurance is important to you, I also see clients through a separate group practice where I accept several major insurance plans. If you'd like to explore that option, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to discuss whether it's a good fit.
